Even if she cant make the second one because you're slightly off angle, she'll still jump for it and bypass the first which lands you in the water. Where and how she jumps is also inconsistent, as you can have three beams in front of you, but she'll jump onto the second one if she can, rather then the one immediately ahead.
Its very hard to just smoothly run at a ledge and jump because I found myself not actually jumping till half a second after I pressed the button which made me fall a few times in the opening area. There's a distinct delay between when you hit the jump button and when the actual movement part of the jump happens.
Overall Im very impressed with how well they managed to translate the level and its aesthetics, less impressed with the gameplay itself and some of the functionality.Īt the moment jumping is the biggest issue with the game.
